Dr. Figge received her theatre and arts training at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute in Neepawa, Manitoba. Lisa hails from Baker’s Green Acres, a three-quarter section farm near the tiny hamlet of Polonia in the Canadian province of Manitoba. She currently lives in Kingston, Ontario, with her lover Keith.
Keith is a self-described gear head an ocean-going sailor of 40-some years, and a pilot.
In one way this website is a project to write a feature-length screenplay for a movie called How We Met all about Lisa and Keith and their life together. She is writing it now and designing how you can see it, learning by doing. Currently, the website lilacflows.com is published writings and live -happening now. The duo’s big challenge is figuring out how to let other people in and to organize the story into a rich email chain. When it is complete you will receive each email as an episode in a TV series, meaning when you subscribe, you will get the story in short, readable installations over time.
